Dr Seun Bakare

About

Temi Alalade is a Pan-Africanist, writer, and researcher whose work centres on the ethical use of technology to strengthen human rights protection across the region. As the Program Associate for Capacity Building at the Justice Bridge Foundation, she supports the development and training of movement lawyers, designs learning tools, and helps build the skills needed to challenge the criminalisation of vulnerable communities.

Temi has collaborated on projects addressing misinformation, sexual and gender-based violence, and digital documentation, including previous work with WITNESS’s Africa regional team. She has co-hosted a wide range of community and youth-focused events, encouraging young people to engage with public life and take part in civic processes. Her background as a member of the British Computer Society reflects her interest in widening access to technology and demonstrating how digital tools can help individuals record abuses, tell their stories, and strengthen community resilience.

She brings this experience to her role at Justice Bridge, where she remains committed to supporting learning, nurturing leadership, and contributing to a broader movement for equality and justice.
